The little giraffe *Book review 2-11*

This is the story of a little giraffe which is first one in the world. He had a best friend, Rhino. They were looking for foods, but there were no food anywhere. They gave up looking for themselves so went to a house where a wise man lives. The wise man said ‘Come again tomorrow. I’ll make special drink for you.’ The next day, the little giraffe went to the wise man again, but the Rhino didn’t come there. The giraffe didn’t know why. The wise man gave a special drink to him. After he drunk it, was getting taller and taller. Finally, he could reach the top of the trees and eat leaves. On the other hand, the Rhino forgot about the wise man. He found grasses a little bit. When he met the not-so- little giraffe, was wondering why he became like that. The giraffe explained the reason so the Rhino got mad at the giraffe, the wise man and himself. I’m excited that I could know the reason why the giraffes are so tall. Now I want to know how to make the special drink that the wise man made.

My precious friends

I have some awesome friends who are exchange students of our university, but they will go back their country soon. We talked, hang out, studied together. They became my treasure while we were having good time. I’m sure I will miss them a lot.
Also, when the exchange students of last year went back, I was crying. I’m still thinking of them and the memories that we made together. I still miss them so sometimes I contact with them. I know that to be good terms with exchange students is very fun and nice. However, I can’t see them after they went back. It’s so hard for me. I’m afraid that to be good friends with them, but I can’t stop having good time with them.
My friends will go back on February. One is leaving in two weeks. I can’t believe that. I have a few days to spend with them so I’m trying to go the dorm everyday. Of course I can’t though. I can’t realize they are not in Japan in a month or so. I want to cherish the time we can share our wonderful time together. Tomorrow, the farewell party will be held. I’m going to go there, but I don’t want to cry, because I want them to remember a lot of smiles of mine! I love them!!

*Mum went to the rescue* Book review 2-10

The book was interesting because Mum was too brave to be a woman. One day, Mum and Dad and their children went to a car boot sale. They found a dinghy. (Dinghy is a kind of boot. I didn’t know that!) They bought and took it home. Dad pumped the air but it didn’t work. There was a hall so the air escaped from the dinghy. They repaired it.
After that, the family went to the river and took a picnic. It was nice day for picnic. The children were enjoyed very much. Also Their dog, Floppy, was enjoyed too. A huge boat was in the river. Children wanted to get on the big boat. Another boat was on the river. Nobody was there. Suddenly, a lady called ‘Please help me! My boat is going somewhere! Get my boat!’ so mum rode on the dinghy and paddled to get her boat. Finally, mum got it, but the dinghy went over. Oh no! They said.
The lady was so sorry but she had a good idea. She wanted to lend her boat to the family to say thank you. The family could have wonderful holiday with the big boat. They thought they should appreciate to their small boat.

Tests of mine

I have 10 tests in the semester. Now, I had finished seven tests and have three more tests. Biology, cultural anthropology and culture understand. I can’t see any materials on the tests, so I have to study hard. I think I can’t get many credits. However I need many because I don’t know how many credit I can get in Liverpool Johnmoose University. I’m scared very much. Ok, I am going to study from now on.

Happy♪

Now, I am so happy! I didn’t know I can go to UK on August or not. If the summer school in Liverpool, I can go, but I didn’t know about it. One day, an email was sent to me from Yazawa-san who is working Kokusai Kouryuu center. She said we can go to the summer school on August. I was relieved to hear that. I can go there six months or so. I have to look for somewhere I can stay in the UK. I have seven or six months until I go there. I cant help to go!

*The wedding* Book review 2-9

The book was written about weddings. A woman who name is Jo was getting married soon. Her niece, Wilma, was looking forward for the wedding, because she wanted to be a bridesmaid. However, Wilma’s brother, Wilf, didn’t want to be a pageboy so he was unhappy. Everyone in the family was preparing for the wedding. Mum made Wilma’s dress, and also was trying to make Wilf’s clothes. He was still unhappy.
Mum went to shopping and had a surprise for Wilf. He was wondering what it is. It’s a suit foe him. To be a page boy was a joke! He was pleased and liked it. Everyone was looking forward to the wedding.
The day of Jo’s wedding, there are many people who were dancing and drinking. They were having fun. Jo was glad to have wonderful wedding. Wilf was happy.
I was glad that Wilf liked the wedding. If he was a pageboy, he wouldn’t like weddings at all. Also I don’t know I will get married with someone, but I really hope it!!!
