There were two big houses in town; the Capulets and the Montagues. Both houses were fighting with each other all the time
Romeo who is the only son of the Montagues is sad because of love. He loved a women whose name is Rosaline and she was a Capulet, but the woman didn’t love him in return. One day, the Capulets held a party. They invited everyone except the Montagues but Romeo went to the party with his cousin and his friends to see Rosaline. However, Romeo met a beautiful girl and that was Juliet who is the only daughter of the Capulets…and they fell in love! He had to go back to his home though he ran away by a car and climbed the wall of the garden. They could see each other again and make an exchange of vows. Finally, they married each other unofficially at Friar Laurence’s church.
Mercutio, who is a friend of Romeo, and Tybalt who is Juliet’s cousin and is Capulet, fought again. Romeo didn’t want to fight at all because the Capulets became precious to him. He stopped both but they kept fighting, and then, Tybalt stabbed Mercutio with a fragment of glass. Mercutio was killed by Tybalt so Romeo was mad at him. Romeo was so mad so chased him by a car and avenged Mercutio’s death…Then, Romeo was banished. He went to Juliet’s house before he escaped to Mantua. They met each other again but it was their last chance to see each other.
On the other hand, Juliet’s father decided that Juliet had to marry Paris. Juliet resisted the idea a lot but thought her parents will abandon her if she resisted any more. Juliet went to Friar Laurence and asked for some help, but he couldn’t anything. She tried to kill herself…so Friar Laurence gave a remedy that makes someone seem like they are death. Before the day of the marriage, she drank the remedy and fell long time sleep. Everyone believed that she was dead. One of Romeo’s friends thought so as well and he reported the bad news to Romeo in Mantua. He couldn’t believe it. Friar Laurence sent an important letter to Romeo to report that Juliet isn’t dead, but Romeo missed the letter.
Romeo went back to his home town but he was banished already so had to escape the police. Then, he went to the church where Juliet was sleeping. He also thought she is dead and cried and talked to Juliet. Then, he drank strong poison. The next instant, Juliet woke up and saw the moment of Romeo’s death. Also she cried but found a gun. She committed suicide by herself.
There were some misunderstandings. They really loved each other but they couldn’t be happy because of the conflict between the two houses. It is unbelievable at the present day, but I was glad to see the real love on the movie.
I watched the movie two times. First, I watched it in English with Japanese subtitles. Then, I watched in English with English subtitles. I might not understand at all without Japanese subtitles. Is the movie’s English difficult? Or it is only for me? I disappointed with my English skills again.

MR-2 *School of Rock*
Recently, I am very busy so I had not enough time to watch ‘School of rock’ but finally, I did it yesterday! I watched it in English with English subtitle. I thought I can’t understand at all first time, but actually I could understand the outline. In the movie, there were a lot of slang words. I have never watched this kind of movie so I was surprised. I mean, I usually watch fantasy movies like Disney and there are some slang words in those movies, but not as many as in these movies.
The main character is Dewey who belonged to a rock band and doesn’t have a job. He really loves rock music but his behavior is not good. So the other members of the band voted to fire him from the band. He was shocked and depressed. Dewey had a roommate whose name is Ned, but Dewey didn’t pay any rent so Ned’s girlfriend was mad at him. Dewey didn’t work but he really needed money.
One day, Dewey caught a call from a principal of Horace Green. She needed a substitute teacher so she called Ned but Dewey pretended to be Ned to work at the school. The principal was a woman whose name is Rosalie didn't notice the deceit at all. Dewey went to a classroom and was called Mr. S. All students were being nice. Mr. S said to the students 'just take a rest all the day'. First, the students were pleased but they were a little bored later. One day, Dewey looked in the class of music. They could play each instrument well but it was boring for Dewey. After the music class, he brought his instruments like guitar to the classroom and he gave a role each student. He let them play Rock 'n' Roll with the instruments and they could do it very well. Dewey was so excited because he loves Rock 'n' Roll and really wanted to play with someone. He finally found the members of his new band! He decided to take part in a competition of music. Everyone really wanted to get a prize.
Since the day, they practiced a lot and learned the history of rock music. They spent all the time for the competition. A student who plays the keyboard didn’t have confidence but after they started the band, he got confidence. Dewey gave confidence to all the students. They were doing better and better. The band's name is 'School of Rock'!!
However, it came out to their parents that Dewey is not a teacher. The parents were very angry at him and the school Horace Green. Of course the school fired Dewey so he back to his previous life. He was sleeping in his messy room then. His students slip out of the school to pick him up! Dewey apologized to them but they didn't care at all because they were enjoyed his class and sincerely liked him. They went to the place where the competition would be held to participate. On the other hand, the school and the parents were in an uproar. They were looking for their children. When they got to the live hall, it was the 'School of Rock’s turn.
They played Zack’s (who is a guitarist in the band) song and did great performance. The audience was surprised and excited! Their parents supposed to be angry, but they weren't. They were proud of their children. The prize was given to other band but they were satisfied with own performance. The audience called for an encore from the School of Rock! They couldn’t get a prize but they got something that the important thing more than the prize.
First, Dewey disgusted me a lot because he was lazy and a liar. The liar is not good for Ned and the students and everyone. After he started teaching music, he was becoming nice. Also the students became good. They were serious all the time and weren’t funny at all. Dewey enjoyed being a teacher and communicating with the students. Finally, all students trusted him. They could have great relationship and grew up together. I felt good because of it. I was interested in Rock ‘n’ Roll more than before.

Childhood friends
Today, my childhood friends and I got together to have dinner and get drink together. There were some people that I met since our graduation of the junior high school. It’s been four years or so. First, I was nervous, but I could relax soon. Everyone looked change, but their heart didn’t change at all. We talked a lot like when we were children. We talked about our love and teachers and something like that during a primary school and junior high school. It was so fun!
After dinner, we went bowling and did two games. Sometimes I can do good work, but I couldn’t do it that day. I was the worst one. I want to be a good player! Then, we took ‘Purikura’ and went to Karaoke! We sung and danced together. We laughed a lot.
Finally, we went a shrine to pray our first visit of the year. The shrine’s name is ‘Kikuchi Jinjya’ which is in Kikuchi city.
I had good time with them and they said too. A coming-of-age-day is next Sunday so we can see each other soon. I’m looking forward it very much. I think I have to lose weights until the ceremony.

I go to shrine at midnight on New Year’s Day to pray with my friends. However, I didn’t go there this year because I worked that day too and was very tired. I just lied and was watching TV. It was kind of boring though.
The next day, I worked too. Many people came to our shop so we were very busy. After I worked, I went to my mother’s home town in Mashiki-machi. My family was already gone to see our grand parents so I went there by myself. I met my grand parents. They are good so I was pleased. Also I met some relations and they are all good. I like them very much. We talked a lot and had special dinner. It was delicious. Some people gave me ‘Otoshidama’ for me. Do you know that mean? It is a traditional of Japan. Adults give some money for children on New Year. The tradition is really good for children. I got it even I’m twenty-year-old. Yeah, I’m lucky! Thank you! ;ｐ
I had good time with my relations and family. I will go to the house of my grand parents soon to show them my face. They will be pleased!

Long time no write!
Recently, I am so lazy. During winter vacation, I was working almost everyday. After I came back from part time job, I just had dinner and watched TV, then went to bed. I didn’t clean my room up, cooked dinner, help my mother at all. I’m regretting it. I had to do that because I’m too busy to do those things during school days. It was good chance to help my mother. I’m so sorry.
Spring break is coming soon in a month, so I will do some house work for sure. I will study English too. The day when I go to UK is next summer and it is nine months after. I’m excited even now.

do my best!
Recently, I am studying hard and am taking a lecture for TOEIC. I didn't think my English is improving so I worried a lot. However, a few days ago, my TOEFL score was sent to me, and the score improved very much. I was pleased so I called my friend!! The score is not so good though my efforts became my treasure. I know I must study more harder so I will try to study hard for sure. The next test is waiting for me on January. I want to have high score next time!

Party!
I had a party today. My birthday is December 4th, so it's over. My friend might have a birthday party for me, but they didn't have enough time then, so today, they had a party for me. When I went to my friend's room, all my friends were getting ready and they made me surprise. They gave a birthday cake and some presents for me. We talked a lot. After that, we went to supermarket to buy something for dinner. We decieded to have Kimuchi nabe for dinner. We went to another store to take a Purikura, and enjoyed it. Then, we came back my friend's home and cooked dinner. It was so delicious nabe. That's taste was Kimuchi and I love it! After dinner, we were talking a lot again. I really enjoyed spending with my friends. I want to hang out with them as soon as possible.
